What is the difference between Maritime and Longshore?

Longshore is a compensation-based system for land-based marine employees. Maritime (which includes the Jones Act) is for people who are aboard vessels. Look in Longshore News for more detailed descriptions.

Do your WC/Longshore markets offer plans other than guaranteed cost? How can my client qualify?

For accounts generating at least $100,000 in premium, we can, in certain cases, offer Retro's, Deductibles and Dividend plans. Qualification for any or all of these is determined by the carrier on a case-by-case basis.
